Just a quick post with some new pictures. Last weekend Jonathan's mom and grandmother came to visit. It's always nice to see them, and it was great to share our new home with family.

Things Quinn loves lately:
1) Coloring - he loves to "write" everyone's names. When asked to write "Quinn," he scribbles excitedly and shouts "baby!"
2) Napping in his bed in his own room.
3) Playing at the park.
4) Reading Clip Clop and some books from the Nemo movie.
5) Reading some stories to us, especially while going potty. :)
6) Listening to the Safari story on his interactive bear. Nothing like having "Safari, Safari, let's go on a Safari" running through your head over and over at 2am.
7) Eating with his fork.

8) Mimicking and saying lots of new words. I think he says between 40-50 words now, and he adds several every day. Yesterday's additions were sleeping, out, tail, Nemo, Clip Clop, and moon. This morning he has already added funnel and bowl. Others he uses are please and thank you, pizza, "mmhmm", gone, school, up, down, Uh oh, light, banana, etc. Of course, these are toddler versions of the words, so you might not realize what every word is, but if you pay attention, he uses them consistently. Some words like baby and our names are spot on.

Quinn had is 18 month check-up last week (I know, two months late, but better late than never). He is still over the 98th percentile mark for weight, and around the 50th for height. Healthy as a horse - Clydesdale, that is. He insisted on using the potty at the doctor's office three separate times. He is pretty fascinated with new potties, which would be more exciting if I knew they were clean.

Jonathan took last week off to get some projects done around the house. He/we were very productive and are ready for summer.
