This past weekend we had plans to go down south to visit family and see Ricky in a play. Unfortunately, Jonathan was given his final exam (a ten page paper) late Thursday for a class in which this paper is his entire grade. Talk about pressure! In addition, he is currently working on his Econometrics final (don't ask me what that is - some kind of statistics I think!) which is due tomorrow and he has two huge papers due next week. With all of this going on, we realized that we really couldn't spare the time driving and staying the night out of town. We sincerely missed seeing Ricky and we apologize to everyone for not making it! We hope to come down as soon as school is out which is fortunately right around the corner.
So we stayed in studying all weekend, except for a few hours on Sunday for a Department picnic that I was in charge of setting up and breaking down. Jonathan stayed long enough to show off our J.J. (who unfortunately spent most of his time getting humped by another dog - our poor baby!) and grab a bite to eat. We also spent all of last week puppy-sitting for our landlord. J.J. and Libby get along well and she's old so she's pretty laid back.
This week we have already had some finals and we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It has been a long, hard semester and we can't wait for the summer to begin.
