An Eventful Weekend

Our weekend began with a frightening drive through stormy weather to surprise family with a visit. We arrived at Dad and Anja's house around 10pm with J.J. and they were thrilled to see us.
Saturday we had the pleasure of seeing Des and the kids for the afternoon. Mikaela of course took to J.J. and vice versa. He is such a cuddlebug.

He also had fun seeing Little Bette again and received some jealous looks from Bubba.

It was great to see Gavyn because he is usually visiting other family on weekends so we seldom see him.
*Note to Wilma - Anja wanted you to see her cute new hairstyle and ring and I liked this picture best.

Grayson and J.J. were both introduced to the pool on Saturday quite by accident. They both attempted to step across it and Jonathan jumped in to save them.

On Sunday we left for SW Missouri for Ricky's high school graduation. J.J. was such a good little puppy, considering we spent a total of 5 hours in the car. He's getting bigger though and thinks I take up too much room in the car seat. Looks like he'll be moving to the backseat soon.

Jonathan, Ricky, and I at his graduation. We are so proud of him! He graduated Summa Cum Laude, is one of only two grads from his high school with a Bright Flight, and one of only 40 students with a Presidential Scholarship to a State University. We are so proud of you Ricky! You have worked so hard and deserve the best! We wish you the best in college!
Our weekend finally ended when we arrived at home around 9pm on Sunday. I ended up taking Monday off to get the house in order and take care of J.J. We are so frustrated because, as of today, he has had diarrhea for 10 days. We have taken him to the vet numerous times, he's been treated for roundworm, and we still don't know what's causing the problem. We are getting up 4-5 times a night with him since last week and are pretty tired and sad that we can't help our baby. The vet thinks it might be a food allergy so we are experimenting with food. We just hope he will be better soon. We'll keep you posted.
