Memorial Day Weekend
We had a restful and fun Memorial Day weekend. We spent the whole three day holiday with family and I think J.J. had the best time of all. Saturday we went to a friend's birthday party and J.J. spent four hours surrouded by about 10 children, ages 2-10 all petting, pulling, and giving him commands to do tricks. He was so cute trying to sit, shake, and lay down all at the same time. We have never seen him around so many kids but he did great and didn't try to bite even when one child put his finger up J.J's nose.

Mikaela and Grayson came over yesterday with Rachel and had some fun with J.J. as well. We are really noticing how fast he is growing.

Between parties, kids, and running around the yard, J.J. had a very tiring weekend. He was so tired each night that he just dropped and insisted on sleeping in the kitchen while the rest of us were outside on the deck.
For all of you who knew that J.J. was having some serious GI problems, we can happily report that new food has turned everything around for him. Up to last week, J.J. had had diarrhea for 10 miserable days. The vet suggested that it might be a food allergy so we switched his food to NUTRO and it is wonderful! The change was immediate and he hasn't had any problems since we switched the food Thursday night. Now he is really growing!
