This weekend we met up with friends in Kansas City. They live in Oregon so it was a special treat to see them. Saturday we arrived at our friends' house and J.J. met his very own new friend, Casey. This is Casey.
We stayed up late enjoying good food, made by our brilliant vegetarian friends. J.J. couldn't last any longer, and passed out amid the fun at about midnight. Just like his mother.
Sunday we woke up early and enjoyed a breakfast of biscuits, eggs, veggie gravy, and donuts with fresh OJ. Then we went with our fantastically talented photographer friends to the Plaza for some coffee followed by a photo shoot in a beautiful park. We can't wait to see how they came out. Meanwhile, J.J. caused lots of trouble (see below) for our friends who puppy-sat him while we were out. Geez, where does all of this energy come from!? If it wasn't completely insane, we would consider getting another dog, just to wear J.J. out.
It was a great weekend.
