Learning to Swim

We spent the weekend again with family, out of town. J.J. is really learning to love car rides. He almost always ends up someplace fun, so why not enjoy the ride? Plus, he's tall enough now to see out and enjoys watching the cars zoom by.

Our parents puppy-sat for a friend over the weekend. Here's three sleepy pups. Aren't they cute?

J.J. really learned to swim! He's gotten in the water before but never ventured far from the edge. This weekend he learned to jump right in and swim after his favorite ball. He spent a lot of time in the pool and loved to sit on my knees when he got tired in the water. You have to watch him when he gets tired, though. He gets too tired to kick with his back legs, his butt sinks, and then he begins to drown. We had to pull him out a few times.
